Activity Overview

The management of osteoporosis can be complicated by the availability of multiple therapeutic options, the often unrecognized and untreated occurrence of secondary causes of osteoporosis, and issues relating to the long-term treatment of patients with osteoporosis. The ISCD-NOF Clinical Osteoporosis 2010 meeting, which occurs on March 10-13, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas includes several educational sessions that address the challenges frequently encountered by clinicians who manage osteoporosis. The purpose of this activity is to provide clinicians who are unable to attend the meeting with a brief and timely summary of the clinically relevant points discussed during specific sessions and includes commentary from Nelson B. Watts, MD. The summaries will be posted on OsteoporosisTX.com within 48 hours of the date of the original presentation.
